SMS Alerts

Satisfac has a Special Short Message Service called SMS Alerts that enables you to receive certain information about your accounts via your mobile phone.

You can choose from several types of SMS Alerts to assist your account management. For instance, you may want an SMS Alert when a direct debit or a direct credit is made to an account, or (an Alert) when your account reaches a particular balance (low or high).

The SMS Alerts service offers two different alert functions. There are 'On-demand Alerts' that allow you to request information on an ad-hoc basis and 'Event Alerts' where you request us to automatically alert you when a certain event happens. Members have access to both functions and they are very easy to use.

To register

To register for this service you can either call a TeleService consultant, visit a branch, contact a Mobile Business Manager or if you are a registered Internet Banking user you can register through the Internet Banking site. When registering you can also set up the 'Events Alerts' that you require.

Fees & charges

Once you have registered for SMS Alerts, each Alert will cost 20cents (excluding your Registration acknowledgement).

All SMS fees are charged at the end of each month to the account you've nominated. Each SMS Alert has a code to identify it on your statement. See our Fees & Charges schedule under the Rates & Fees link above.
