Direct Credits

This service enables you to have funds paid directly into one or more of your Satisfac accounts by other organisations or persons (third parties).

Tax refunds, share dividends, superannuation & Social Security benefits, foreign pensions and rent receipts are examples.

Benefits

An important advantage of Direct Credits is that they represent funds that are available immediately whereas cheque deposits require a number of clearance days before funds are available.

Members who use Direct Credits are also contributing to operating cost savings as this system is much less expensive than processing cheque, money order or cash deposits.

Splitting of credits

It is also easy for us to arrange for your regular Direct Credit payments to be split up and credited to your Satisfac accounts (eg Home Loan repayment, Christmas Savings account). Simply let us know what your requirements are.

We automatically credit your main operating account (eg. S1, S88) if we do not hold specific instructions from you.

This is a FREE service. However, other fees and charges are payable in some circumstances.

Information Required by Third Parties

There are three pieces of information that third parties need to have for successful transmission of Direct Credits

  • Satisfac's BSB number which is 805-007.
  • The Satisfac membership number to be credited
    (eg 1234567).
  • The surname and initials of the Member to whom funds are to be credited (eg. Smith, J & J).

Fees & Charges

Fees and charges are payable in some circumstances. See our Fees & Charges schedule under the Rates & Fees link above.

Periodical Payments

This service enables you to make a payment or transfer to yourself or another party from a savings account on a regular basis.

Periodical payments can be set up to recur (e.g. weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly) for an indefinite or fixed number of payments or transfers.

You can set up a periodical payment from a range of savings accounts.

Outgoing payments can be in the form of transfers to another member's account or another financial institution. Payments can also be by cheque posted to an address you nominate or to a Bpay biller.

If the first attempt to make payment is unsuccessful because of insufficient funds, we will try again over the next four business days. After five unsuccessful tries, the payment is abandoned and a Dishonour Fee is charged.

Periodical Payments via Internet Banking

Users of our Internet Banking Service can create their own periodical payments. What's more, you can view, modify or delete any existing periodical payment instruction we hold on file for you. More information on Internet Banking.
