What do I need to start using Internet Banking
Applying for Internet Banking is relatively simple but it does require you to complete an application form. For security reasons, we establish your identity before you are able to gain account access.
Once registration is complete, you can find the 'log on' link on the home page under Quick Links or use the link on the right hand side on this page.
Passwords
The first time you log on to Internet Banking, you will be required to change the password we give you. Your password must contain at least eight characters up to a maximum of sixteen characters. It should be something you can easily remember but not anything that people might associate with you, such as your name, friend's name, pet's name, your initials or your name backwards. Also do not use birthdays, anniversaries or your login ID.
If you do use an obvious password, you may, in certain circumstances, be liable for any losses that occur as a result of unauthorised use of your password. Your actual liability in any such instance will be determined as required under the Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Code of Conduct. Satisfac complies with the EFT Code where it applies.
Because passwords are case-sensitive, it's a good idea to use numbers, special characters and a mixture of upper and lowercase letters somewhere in the password to make it more difficult to guess. You may want to create a personal acronym, e.g. "Cousin Jack lived for 8 years at Murray Bridge" = CJlf8yaMB.
You can change your password whenever you like. As an additional safeguard, our employees will never ask you for your password. Remember never to reveal your password, no matter who asks you for it.
