Travelling with your card

  • Your Satisfac VISA card gives you worldwide access to your Satisfac accounts through ATM's and across the counter at selected financial institutions displaying the VISA symbol. You can make purchases at any merchant displaying the Visa symbol.
  • Cash Withdrawals made from overseas ATM's attract a cash advance fee charged the next working day.
  • All transactions made overseas are subject to a conversion fee charged by VISA.
  • Using your Satisfac VISA card or Redicard interstate has the same implications as using it here in South Australia.

Preparing for your trip

  • Ensure you have an Access Code registered with Satisfac - this will enable Satisfac staff to discuss your accounts with you over the phone whilst you are away.
  • Check your Satisfac VISA card expiry date.
  • Set up a Periodical Payment to pay regular bills while you are away.
  • If you would like someone to manage your Satisfac finances for you while you are away, you will need to arrange signing authority for them (Additional Signatory) to operate your account before you leave.
  • Register for Internet Banking so you can manage and keep track of your accounts.
  • Make copies of your passport details, visas, insurance policy, travellers cheques, itinerary and credit card numbers. Carry one copy separately from originals and leave one copy with someone at home. Also carry extra copies of your passport photo with you.
