Martin Harvey - Chairperson

Martin has been a Satisfac Director since July 1994 and is the current Satisfac Chairman having been elected to the position in October 2001. He previously served as Deputy Chairman for several years. Martin has had a wide and varied legal career having spent 6 years with the Australian Taxation Office mostly in the Objections & Appeals and Advising areas. He was the in-house lawyer for 4 years with C-C Bottlers Ltd (Coca Cola) and spent 4 years with a large Adelaide law firm specialising in commercial law. Prior to joining the Board he has acted as consultant to the SA Office of Financial Supervision.

Ian has been a Satisfac Director since July 1994. Prior to retirement from full time work, he taught in both state and independent schools. He has wide experience in teaching, curriculum development, careers counselling and international student marketing and programs. More recently he has been working in private tuition.

Jim Hayward

Jim joined the Board as an alternate director in March 2002 and was appointed a full director in October 2003.

He has a background in accounting and management and was formerly a registered company auditor. He is currently a lecturer in Management and Small Business Management at TAFE.

Jim previously worked in the commercial area of ATSIC, managing the business development and housing loans program across South Australia.

Nick Kingsley

Nick has been a Satisfac Member since 1981 and a Director since July 1994. He has worked for the Department of Education and Children's Services since 1965, mainly in country schools. He has held Principal positions since 1974 and is presently Head of Primary at Tatachilla Lutheran College. Nick has many other interests which mainly revolve around sport, community organisations and his love of the sea, particularly fishing and surfing.

Sally Paterson

Sally has been a Satisfac Director since 1 July 1994 and is Deputy Principal, Urrbrae Agricultural High School. She has held leadership positions in a number of country and ciity schools and is currently the Deputy Principal at Urrbrae Agricultural High School. Her career includes experience as an advisor in school planning and human resource management.

Julieann Riedstra

Julieann joined the Satisfac Board as an Alternate Director in July 1999 and was appointed as a full Director at the 2000 Annual General Meeting.

Julieann is a Director in the Department of Education and Children's Services and is responsible for the department’s infrastructure planning, capital program, transport and procurement.

Terry Tierney

Terry was a high school principal for more than 20 years at The Parks High, Willunga High and Urrbrae Agricultural High from where he retired at the end of 2002.

He has had extensive experience as a member of the South Australian Secondary Principals Association, particularly in relation to the professional development functions and is a life member of that organisation.

In 1990/91 he led the team of teachers responsible for the Training and Development related to the introduction of the South Australian Certificate of Education, and in 2004 was asked to help the panel set up to review the SACE. He has also been working with the University of South Australia as an education consultant on Papua New Guinea.
